Quilt-astic!

Josie's posing with her new quilt made by a family friend in Portland, Ann Williamson. Ann is a custom clothing designer who uses a lot of piece work and applique techniques and has an amazing eye for prints! She incorporated some Japanese fabric that she found when we traveled to Kyoto together in 2007. Thanks, Ann!

Doggies

Josie loves being around dogs. Here she is with Molly, trying to rip her fur out. On Wednesdays, she watches Cody's every move at Zizi and Boppa's house. She just can't get enough of cute puppy dogs!

This gray or that gray?

"Why is it taking you so long to paint this room? Just pick a color already!"

Josie and Stella

A couple days ago, Josie's littlest friend Stella stopped by for a visit with her mom, Alexis. Josie was so excited to play with her, but 7-week old Stella was a bit skeptical...

Check out more pics of Josie and Stella on her blog:

Rock Star

Josie's rockin' this outfit from Auntie Katie and Uncle Andrew. She's paired it with some high-top converse socks... so hip!

Parchment Paper

Parchment paper is a real treat for Josephine (it's food grade!). She likes crinkling it, ripping it, chewing it, and drooling on it. I guess she's easy to please... at least most of the time. :)

Independence Day in Sacramento

We spent the day with the Ferriers, visiting Papa and Gma in Sacramento.

It was almost 100 degrees outside, so it was a perfect day for the kiddie pool. As you can see, Josie experimented with a few new hairdos... The aerodynamic rear flame was a favorite, as was the pseudo-sumo look.

Construction Done!

Our last window replacement is complete! We're still painting the room (the right color has been elusive....), but it's great to have the room opened up again and be able to use the front door again.

Baby BBQ

We invited our new parent friends over for a barbeque yesterday and the back deck was teaming with babies! Stella was by far the "baby" of the group at only 6 weeks old! At 18 months, Colin was practically old enough to sit at the adult table. :)

Time to infill our deck railing... Josie's almost ready to crawl!

Josie & Molly

Auntie Kathryn's dog Molly came to visit the other day and Josie was enthralled. They sat together outside in the back and Josie patted her fur and tried to grab her face. Love at first sight!
