We spent the day up north, walking around the tiny town of Occidental, stopping at the Wild Flour bakery and kitchen garden in Freestone, and hanging out on the beach at Bodega Bay. It was beautiful and relaxing. Josie was fascinated by the sound of the waves crashing on the shore, and loved watching the dogs play in the water (of course). We set up the tent for a little shade while we ate lunch and then Josie had a chance to experience the cold water on her little toes.
